Don’t break

The light lasted ten minutes. The edit lasts the week.

You plan the whole week around one sunset: the forecast, the wind, the backup spot, the drive. Then the dress flies, she flies home, and you’re left with a thousand frames of fabric that all look almost the same.

Weather briefing

From a week out, ShotBreak watches the forecast for your shoot and refreshes it as the day gets closer: chance of rain, the best window, what to pack, and a backup plan. US shoots for now.

  • Backup spots

If the weather turns, nearby spots are scored using real Google reviews, so plan B is already scouted. US shoots for now.

  • Golden hour on your calendar

When clients book on your site, golden hour is marked on the calendar for that place and date, so the sunset slot is the one they pick.

  • On your phone

ShotBreak for iPhone and Android keeps your next shoot, its shot list and your prep checklist in your pocket, even offline.

Why we know this genre

Built by the woman who made the dresses.

Before ShotBreak, Korinna built Korinnart, a handmade flying dress business. She was on the shoots, next to the photographers, in real weather with real clients. She watched the photos come out beautiful and the week after the shoot fall apart. ShotBreak is what she built so that part stops breaking.

Your site shows the package and the add-ons. Clients pick a golden-hour slot, the travel fee is added if the location is far, and they pay in full or in three. The booking creates the client, the session and the invoice.

Questions

Before you
start.

For shoots in the US, yes: forecast, best window, backup plan and backup spots nearby. Outside the US there’s no briefing for now. Golden hour on your booking calendar works anywhere.

You choose the look, or keep the one it suggests, and it lands across the whole session. The gallery stays a draft until you’ve reviewed it, and you can take out any photo first.

Yes. Set a free radius and a paid radius with a flat or per-mile fee. The fee is added when the client books. Distance is measured in a straight line, and a location past your paid radius comes in as an inquiry instead.

Yes. Add the dress, extra looks or anything else as add-ons to your package. The client picks them when they book.

Yes, when they book through your site. ShotBreak Pay splits the total into three card payments with no interest for them. You turn it on per package, and each payment lands in your Stripe account as it’s charged.

No. Keep editing where you edit and use ShotBreak for culling, delivery and getting paid. If you want to switch, ShotBreak Studio is free and brings your Lightroom presets (.xmp) along.
